Press Release of 12 June 2019

After the first edition, which saw the participation of 108 organisations (for a total of 197 entities involved, including institutions and public and private organisations), with over 350 events in 120 cities throughout Italy, Financial Education Month, promoted by the Committee on the Planning and Coordination of Financial Education Activities returns from 1 to 31 October 2019.

The Month will have a calendar brimming with events, starting with those of the first week of October connected to “World Investor Week” - the international event dedicated to asset management - and continuing with cultural events, information seminars, shows, days of games and training on financial education as well as on insurance and social security issues.

Initiatives can be proposed by filling out the online form at www.quellocheconta.gov.it/ottobreedufin from today until 13 September 2019.

Participation allows one to use the Month’s logo and appear in its promotion on a national scale, so as to ensure the organisers of individual initiatives greater visibility and encourage the effectiveness of the actions through the coordination with other participating entities.

For all the partners of the Month there will also be a chat and interactive tools to maximise communication concerning events, allowing them to get to know those in Italy who are committed on this front, so as to create synergies.

The Committee invites associations, institutions, companies, universities and research centres, schools, foundations, public administrations and any organisation that wants to engage in the field of financial education to submit their candidacy, offering quality events that are non-profit and free for those who participate. All initiatives that have the goal of increasing basic knowledge on insurance and social security issues will be welcomed as well as those on the management and planning of personal and family financial resources. Indispensable knowledge for serenity today and also for the future.
