Applications are open for Financial Education Month 2024 from 2 September to 18 October
Rome, 2 September 2024 – Applications are open for candidates to participate in Financial Education Month 2024: there’s time until 18 October to present proposals.
Starting today, it is possible to fill in the appropriate online form available on the www.quellocheconta.gov.it website to present your initiative aimed at promoting the development and learning of financial, insurance and social security knowledge and skills.
Having reached its seventh edition, Financial Education Month 2024, promoted by the Committee on the Planning and Coordination of Financial Education Activities (EDUFIN Committee), involves, in its new placement in November, a vast programme of seminars, lessons, webinars, games, educational workshops and free shows, in person and online throughout Italy, on the theme of management and planning of personal and family financial resources.
“Financial education: today for your tomorrow”: that is this year’s chosen slogan, one that will accompany the event even in future editions.
Associations, institutions, companies, universities and research centres, schools, foundations, public administrations and any organisation that wants to engage in the field of financial education with quality events that comply with the participation criteria established in the Edufin Committee’s Guidelines for the Month may present their applications.
Promoters are invited to organise initiatives aimed at increasing the financial, insurance and social security skills of Italians, so that they can make more informed financial choices and have more careful planning of their savings and investment decisions.
Once approved by the Committee, the initiative will be published in the "Financial Education Month 2024” calendar and on the Committee’s website www.quellocheconta.gov.it.

The Committee on the Planning and Coordination of Financial Education Activities has the task of planning and promoting initiatives to raise awareness and concerning financial education to measurably improve skills in regard to savings, investments, social security, insurance.
The Committee, currently directed by Prof. Donato Masciandaro, is composed of: the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies, Bank of Italy, Consob, Covip, IVASS, Ocf, National Council of Consumers and Users.
