Financial Education Month 2026: applications open from 7 September to 16 October

Financial Education Month 2026

Applications open from 7 September to 16 October

Rome, 7 September 2026 – Applications are now open for participation in Financial Education Month 2026: proposals must be submitted by 16 October. From today, you can fill in the appropriate online form available on the EDUFIN Committee website to submit your initiative aimed at promoting the development and learning of financial, insurance and social security knowledge and skills.

Now in its ninth edition, the Financial Education Month 2026, promoted by the Committee for the Planning and Coordination of Financial Education Activities (EDUFIN Committee), features an extensive programme of seminars, lectures, webinars, games, educational workshops and free shows, taking place both in person and online across Italy, on the theme of managing and planning personal and family financial resources.

“Financial education: today for your tomorrow”: this is the slogan chosen for the event.

Applications are open to associations, institutions, companies, universities and research centres, schools, foundations, public administrations and any organisation wishing to engage in the field of financial education with quality events that meet the participation criteria set out in the Edufin Committee’s Month Guidelines.

Organisers are invited to develop initiatives aimed at improving Italians’ financial, insurance and pension literacy, so that they can make more informed financial choices and plan their savings and investment decisions more carefully.

Once approved by the Committee, the initiative will be published in the Calendar of the Financial Education Month 2026 on the Committee’s website, which will list the events taking place throughout Italy from 1 to 30 November.

Each event will be assigned a different logo to make it easier to consult: blue for general initiatives; pink for activities aimed mainly at women; green for topics related to sustainability; yellow for initiatives promoted by universities and scientific institutions; purple for content on technological and financial innovation.
