Financial Education Month 2025 Open to Candidates
from 1 September to 17 October
Rome, 1 September 2025 - Applications for participation in Financial Education Month 2025 start today: there is time until 17 October to submit proposals to the Committee on the Planning and Coordination of Financial Education Activities (Edufin Committee).
To propose your initiative aimed at promoting the development and learning of financial, insurance and social security knowledge and skills, just fill in the appropriate online form on the Committee's website (www.comitatoeducazionefinanziaria.gov.it).
Having reached its eighth edition, Financial Education Month 2025 involves a vast programme of seminars, lessons, webinars, games, educational workshops and free shows, in person and online throughout Italy, on the theme of management and planning of personal and family financial resources.
“Financial education: today for your tomorrow”: that is the event's slogan.
Associations, institutions, companies, universities and research centres, schools, foundations, public administrations and any organisation that wants to engage in the field of financial education with quality events that comply with the participation criteria established in the Edufin Committee’s Guidelines may present their applications.
Applicants are invited to organise initiatives aimed at increasing the financial, insurance and social security skills of citizens, so that they can make more informed financial decisions and more carefully plan their savings and investment choices.
Once approved by the Committee, the event will be published in the “Financial Education Month 2025” calendar and on the Committee’s website. I

The Committee on the Planning and Coordination of Financial Education Activities has the task of planning and promoting initiatives to raise awareness and concerning financial education to measurably improve skills in regard to savings, investments, social security, insurance.
The Committee, currently directed by Prof. Donato Masciandaro and instituted at the MEF, is composed of: the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Education and Merit, the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies, Bank of Italy, Consob, Covip, Ivass, Ocf, National Council of Consumers and Users.
