The Committee is responsible for the recognition of proposals promoted by private or public entities, deserving of being included in the programme of Global Money Week, the annual event promoted by the OECD with the aim of raising awareness among young people on the importance of acquiring knowledge, skills and virtuous behaviours aimed at making informed financial decisions.

Since its launch in 2012, the event has involved over 60 million young people in 176 Countries. The campaign is coordinated in Italy by the Edufin Committee, with the organisational contribution of Bank of Italy and the other Institutions represented in the Committee.

The Edufin Committee invites associations, institutions, companies, universities and research centres, schools, foundations, public administrations and any other organisation that wants to engage in the field of financial education, to participate in the event with awareness-raising initiatives addressed to young people. All initiatives that comply with the requirements of the Guidelines will be welcomed. Approved projects will be collected in www.quellocheconta.gov.it. An official calendar of GMW will be announced in schools.
