The Committee on the Planning and Coordination of Financial Education Activities - which involves the participation of the Ministry of Economy and Finance - promotes the first edition of “Financial Education Month” from 1 to 31 October 2018.
“Financial Education Month” includes information and awareness-raising activities and events on correct behaviour in the management and planning of personal and family resources with the purpose of guaranteeing economic well-being through the use of appropriate financial, insurance and social security instruments. The Month will open with “World Investor Week” and it will end on 31 October, World Savings Day. Numerous initiatives that include conventions, meetings and seminars are already in the calendar in various cities (Rome, Milan, Florence, Turin). Various webinars are also planned.
The Committee invites all interested entities to participate in the “Month”, inviting them to plan initiatives consistent with the aim of improving the financial education of citizens. Participation in the “Month” allows one to use the event’s logo and appear in its promotion on a national scale, so as to ensure the organisers of individual initiatives greater visibility and encourage the effectiveness of the actions through the coordination with other entities, in a framework of proposals that might otherwise be too fragmented.
